What are the responsibilities and job description for the Education Coordinator - Boys & Girls Club position at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula - Turner Unit?
Position Scope:
The Education Coordinator plans, implements and evaluates all programs and activities in the Learning Center.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide an emotionally and physically safe environment
- Tutor members in all school subjects
- Mainly work with youth ages 6-12 but may have some teens who need assistance
- Grant related data collection
- Collaborate with schools about the needs and progress of our shared students
- Monitor the Learning Center and ensure members know and follow the expectations
- Engage with volunteers and match them with members to tutor
- Keep the Learning Center clean, organized and attractive
- Plan and implement activities that promote learning and fun
- Administer the Boys & Girls Club homework club called "Power Hour"
Schedule:
Monday-Friday
1:30-6:00 (summer hours may vary)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.66 per hour
