POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and strategic People Partner to join our People Team. The People Partner will play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with business goals, driving organizational effectiveness, and fostering a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in People and HR practices, employee relations, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to collaborate across functions. The People Partner will report to the Senior Director, People Operations.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a trusted People Partner to assigned regions - deeply understanding their goals and proactively addressing people-related needs
- Collaborate with business leaders to develop and implement people strategies that support the achievement of organizational goals
- Provide guidance on a wide range of people matters, including but not limited to, employee relations, performance development, talent planning, and compensation practices
- Work closely with management to identify staffing needs, participate in recruitment efforts, and ensure effective onboarding of new employees
- Contribute to the design and execution of talent management initiatives, including succession planning, career development and performance management
- Coach and counsel managers on leadership and people management skills to enhance team performance and engagement
- Facilitate effective communication between employees and management, promoting a culture of transparency and open dialogue
- Address employee concerns and grievances, conducting thorough investigations when necessary and recommending appropriate actions
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to identify training needs and support the implementation of relevant training programs
- Monitor and analyze key people data and trends, providing insights to strengthen engagement, retention, and equity across the organization
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies within assigned business units
- Contribute to cross-functional People Team initiatives focused on improving, simplifying, or reimagining systems, policies, and processes. Build strong, collaborative relationships across teams to align people strategies with organizational goals and foster a thriving workplace culture.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; some stooping, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, crouching, squatting, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 20% walking & standing. Work environment noise level is usually moderate but can be noisy at times. All requirements are subject to reasonable accommodations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in People Operations, with significant experience in people partnering or a similar strategic support role
- Demonstrated experience in advising and collaborating with leaders on people-related matters, including performance, development, and team effectiveness
- Strong understanding of BGCP's mission, operating model, and regional challenges, with the
- Proven ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics with empathy, equity, and clarity. Experienced in resolving workplace concerns, supporting healthy team culture, and strengthening manager-employee relationships.
- Contributes to the design and implementation of thoughtful people strategies that foster growth, belonging, and operational effectiveness
- Experienced in supporting teams and leaders through change, whether that's evolving structures, shifting priorities, or improving internal systems, with clarity and care
- Skilled in identifying, developing, and supporting talent at all levels. Partners with leaders to assess growth potential, build individualized development plans, and strengthen succession pathways across the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively interacting with all levels of employees and stakeholders
- Demonstrates strong active listening skills by fully engaging with employees, managers, and leadership to understand their concerns, needs, and feedback. Listens carefully to both verbal and non-verbal cues to provide tailored solutions and advice.

LOCATION

WORK SCHEDULE
Generally, Monday - Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, however, flexibility is required to align with the organization's needs.
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining both in-office and remote work. You are expected to adhere to the following schedule:
- In-Office Days: Currently Tuesdays and Thursdays are designated for in-person support of our Onboarding Days
- Remote Work: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are set aside for remote work and site visits. Even on days designated for remote work, you must maintain the flexibility to come in at any time to address employee relations issues, terminations, or other urgent matters that require in-person attention.
- Flexibility: Please note that this schedule is subject to change, and adjustments may be made in alignment with organizational needs and evolving circumstances
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Employment Status: Full-Time Salary
- Salary Range: $85,000 to $110,000, depending on experience (DOE)

As part of the hiring process, BGCP requires candidates to complete a LiveScan fingerprinting, background check, and tuberculosis (TB) test.
