Part-Time Custodian

Salary Range

$15.00 Hourly

Monday-Friday 6:00 pm-9:00 pm

Summary:

The Facility Custodian maintains the facility to ensure its full and productive use.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building.

Sweep & Mop Floors as needed.

Collects and discards litter or other waste materials.

Performs minor repairs and maintenance, such as replacing light fixtures or unclogging pipes.

Cleans and sanitizes restrooms, classrooms, small kitchen, snack areas, front desk, and office.

Empties trash cans.

Ensure lights, heating, and cooling systems are turned off at the end of the day.

Maintains a neat and orderly janitor room and closet; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.

Cleans front door windows.

Assists in examining the clubhouse for safety hazards, and reports deficiencies to the Branch Director.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must have a valid driver's license.

Must have at least 1 year of experience in a custodial, housekeeping, or similar position.

Strong communication skills and judgment.

Excellent time management skills.

Must be carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and reaching throughout your shift?

Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing up to thirty pounds.
