TITLE: Housing Program - Housing Coordinator
COMPENSATION: $55,000 to 65,000 a year benefits package including health and retirement options
HOURS: Full-time - 40 hours/week (Mon-Fri)
LOCATION: Provo, UT
JOB SUMMARY: The Housing Program Housing Coordinator will work together with a small team that assists families experiencing homelessness or at-risk of experiencing homelessness to both qualify and receive temporary housing assistance through the use of TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) funding, Utah Valley Home Consortium Home-ARP (American Rescue Plan) funding, Utah Office of Homeless Services (OHS) funding and other support funds.

KEY ROLES (Essential Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with a team consisting of a Team Lead and two other Housing Coordinators that assists needy families to both qualify and receive housing support through the use of TANF and other support funds;
- Assist families that have housing needs to qualify and receive housing through the use of TANF and other support funds;
- Determine eligibility for families to receive and qualify for TANF and other support funds;
- Develop and maintain relationships with housing providers.
- Ensure proper paperwork and documentation are provided and qualifications are met for housing providers and families to receive TANF or other support funds;
- Under the direction of the Operations Officer and Team Lead, assist with developing and implementing a strategic plan to provide housing for 80 families each year;
- With the support of the Housing Team Lead, assist with preparing quarterly and annual reports on program progress;
- Other related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able and willing to drive to meet clients out of office as necessary within Utah, Summit, Wasatch, Iron, Beaver, and Washington counties
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management, administrative, and organizational skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, community groups, and other related agencies.
- Knowledge of basic computer applications and digital reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, be attentive to details, and work independently
- Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data related to the housing program
- Professional and welcoming demeanor and attitude
- 2( ) years of experience in a social service or related field, or education equivalent
- Bilingual Proficiency in Spanish and English required
OTHER INFORMATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field strongly preferred.

About the Boys & Girls Club: The Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County provides in-school, afterschool, and summer learning opportunities and services to youth throughout Utah County. In addition, the club provides other related community services.
