JOB TITLE: Clinician/Therapist
REPORTS TO: Clinical Director
Our Mission: To Improve the lives of the Residential youths, Community youths, and Foster Care families we work with by helping them develop the necessary skills to address issues impairing or precluding their overall emotional and psychological wellness.
Job Requirements:
- Conducts weekly individual therapy sessions (or as needed) utilizing evidenced based treatment practices
- Completes Comprehensive Clinical Assessment and other appropriate assessments as indicated
• Facilitates group therapy sessions • Maintains a therapeutic alliance with community stakeholders such as, but not limited to, Dept. of Social Services (DSS), Dept. Of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), and other key partners relevant to the youth’s ecology.
- Collaborates with youth, staff, and stakeholders to develop treatment goals
- Provides crisis-support services and share on-call coverage rotation
- Completes documentation in a timely and accurate manner
- Completes and reviews safety-plans with youths deemed high-risk
- Attends weekly clinical meetings and bi-weekly one-on-ones with Clinical Director
- Attends monthly Child-Family-Treatment team meetings for assigned youths
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- This requires a master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.
- Must hold or be working towards a North Carolina licensure (LCSW, LMFT, or LCMHC). Provisionally licensed candidates are welcome to apply.
