Position Title: Youth Development Specialist (Friday and/or Sunday)
Location: St Louis, MO
Reports To: Residential Program Manager
Supervises others: Volunteers as needed
Classification: Non-exempt
When You’re Here:
- Part-Time
- 15.5 hours/week,
- Friday 6:30 am - 12:00 pm, 2 pm - 8 pm; Sunday 4 pm - 11 pm
The Rewards:
- Starting Salary: $18 /hr (based on exp)
You Have
- GED Equivalent/High School Diploma
- 1 year working in a customer service role related to care of others
- Experience working with adolescents
- Valid state driver’s license and car insurance
- Minimum age of 21
- Vaccination encouraged

- Engaging scholars, families, and volunteers from various religious and cultural backgrounds cultivating healthy, lasting relationships
- Maintaining high-achieving scholar’s accountability to program expectations
- Creating highly communicative and strong rapport with team members and scholars
- Transporting scholars to and from the house
- Ensuring safe management and timely distribution of prescription/non-prescription medications
- As with life, priorities and duties can shift or be added to be as effective as possible for our scholars.
Bring Your Expertise
- Prior success thriving in a diverse and broad socio-economic atmosphere
- Experience with the direct support of at-risk or high-needs populations, especially youth
- Support and manage priorities to meet the needs of residential operations
- Reliable use and management of various software/communication systems (email, MS office, note sharing, etc.)
- Ability to obtain needed licensure/certifications ensuring the wellbeing of the home and scholars
