What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Football Coach position at Boys Ranch ISD?
- Assignment is for the 2023-2024 school year as Head Football Coach. Other coaching duties during winter and spring seasons. Possible teaching fields include high school math, science and middle school ELA and social studies.
- Prefer experience as a head coach, offensive coordinator, or defensive coordinator in 6-man or 11-man.
- Applicant must hold at least a bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject/level assigned
- Applicant must have or be able to obtain Class B CDL driver's license and be First Aid/CPR/AED certified
- Applicant will receive salary plus Coaching stipends: Head Football $4,700 plus days. Other sports stipend range from $1,200 to $1,500 depending on assignment.
- Excellent benefits and insurance (District pays $740/month for employee's insurance).
- Housing offered, as well as, breakfast and lunch Monday-Friday.
- Three to five years Coaching and Teaching experience preferred.
- Other teaching/coaching positions available so head coach can bring an OC or DC.
- Starting date is July 2023.
