What are the responsibilities and job description for the RESEARCH RECRUITMENT ASSISTANT position at Boys Town?
Screens, assesses, and recruits potential research study participants and complete any related paperwork. Develops recruitment strategies and maintains relationships to facilitate a connection to a potential research study.
Flexible position : Full time or Part Time
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES :
- Recruits and screens potential research participants.
- Works directly with Research staff to develop strategies and advertisements to implement in recruiting research participants.
- Handles telephone and electronic inquiries from potential research participants.
- Reports progress to the Research Recruitment Coordinator.
- Conducts initial interviews with potential research participants to assess alignment with research studies.
- Receives incoming inquiries to facilitate a connection to a potential Boys Town research study and coordinates the transfer to the designated contact within Research.
- Maintains knowledge of research studies, eligibility requirements.
- Makes determination on potential research study match based on the information from the potential research participant and the research studies available, coordinates contacts, and communicates to appropriate staff.
