The City of Bozeman is now accepting applications for Forestry Short-Term Workers! Spend your summer planting and caring for trees within the Bozeman city limits. Employees in this position will spend most of their time caring for boulevard and City park trees through planting, prunes and removals, watering, and equipment operation. Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday 8:00am – 4:00pm. Bargaining Unit: Not RepresentedFair Labor Standards Act Status: Non-ExemptLength of Season: Ideally April 28th through August 24thAssignment Details: Not to exceed 90 working days or 520 hours, whichever comes firstAPPLICATION TIMELINE: Interviews will be held the week of March 24thThe position will begin working April 28th at the earliest
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
High School Diploma or GED; Must be of legal age to perform the duties of the position; All employees must possess a valid Class D driver's license; Some experience is desired, but not required.
