Certification Details BLS ARRT certification in nuclear medicine Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) Job Details Performs general nuclear medicine examinations, including on call services, therapeutic procedures and PET / CT patient exams in a hospital based, acute care environment. Job Requirements Graduate of an Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited program or equivalent. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in nuclear medicine or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) American Heart Association BLS Preferred : One (1) year post-graduate work experience as a registered Nuclear Medicine Technologist Schedule Information This role requires regular and sustained attendance. The position may necessitate working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts. On-call work may be required to respond promptly to organizational, patient, or employee needs. Unit Specific Information Performs nuclear medicine quality control measures, patient exams and procedures as requested by the medical staff. Additional Details Candidates must live at least 90 miles from facility to be considered for assignment. Facility reserves the right to cancel three (3) shifts per 13-week contract in the event of low census or other unforeseen circumstances.
