POSITION OVERVIEW A Surveillance/Security observer Provides an atmosphere in which all employees know that the company responds to and cares about their safety and security.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides an atmosphere in which all employees know that the company responds to and cares about their safety and security.
Communicates in a manner that is open, honest, and responsive in all situations; to the extent authorized, provides information regarding the facility and surrounding area as requested by authorized personnel.
Monitors entrances, exits, warehouse floor, vehicular travel, and parking areas.
Provides video copies of incidents as requested by authorized personnel.
Prepares logs or reports as required; writes or types reports or enters information in a computer using standard grammar.
Observes and report incidents or suspicious activity to their immediate supervisor, company management, life/safety personnel, or public safety authorities as appropriate for the circumstances as required.
Assists in the installation of surveillance hardware and/or software as directed by the Department Head, Systems Engineer, or Senior Systems Technician.
Assumes roles in security as needed
Valid guard card and driver's license required
Weekends are required

11:00 PM -7:00 AM
