The Technologist for Coke Supply will play a vital role in our organization, leading technology support for green coke and calcined coke production. This involves troubleshooting coke quality problems, developing tools to optimize crude selection at BP coking refineries and third-party supplies, and working closely with Quality Control Specialists to develop effective QA/QC processes and data bases.
You will be responsible for owning BP coke quality prediction models, developing automation programs, training personnel, and promoting coke training tools. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive results-oriented solutions. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of new applications for carbon products that fit BP's production capabilities and support clean carbon products agenda.
