Job Title: Integrity Program Supervisor
The role of the Integrity Program Supervisor is crucial in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient execution of Integrity Programs at BP's Whiting Refinery in Indiana.
This position plays a key part in supporting all integrity programs by providing day-to-day management and direction to the team of inspectors, as well as providing oversight of inspection contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of inspectors responsible for the inspection of piping, pressure vessels, boilers, furnaces, and storage tanks.
- Ensure the competency and development of staff.
- Develop and establish relationships across multiple teams to drive continuous improvement in inspection techniques applied.
- Provide expert advice on integrity and inspection programs to ensure effective and efficient utilization of resources, coordinating with specialists and inspectors to align on required inspection effectiveness and how best to achieve it.
Requirements:
- 5 years of inspection experience in a refinery or chemical plant setting is required; National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) commission or ability to obtain commission.
- Knowledge of refinery or chemical facilities, processing equipment and corrosion mechanisms.
- Expertise in basic NDT techniques including UT, PAUT, RT, MT, and PT.
- Proven experience in developing, revising, and implementing policies and procedures.
Additional Information:
- Associate's degree or bachelor's degree in a technical field such as engineering.
- API 653, 580 and ASNT Level II MT/PT/UT certifications.
- Proficiency with GE APM Meridium Inspection Data Management System.
- Knowledge and experience using API 581 RBI methodology to determine pressure vessel and piping inspection scope and intervals.
This role offers paid vacation depending on relevant industry experience and will range from 120 – 240 hours of vacation per year for full-time employees (60 - 240 hours of vacation per year for part-time employees). You will also be eligible for 9 paid holidays per year and 2 personal choice holidays.
