About the Job Description
The Senior Reservoir Expert will be responsible for developing and implementing geological and geophysical methods to optimize resource progression and improve hydrocarbon reserves and production output.
Main Objectives:
- To develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the Eagle Ford formation and its associated geology and geophysics
- To identify optimization opportunities and appraisal strategies that increase hydrocarbon reserves and production output
- To support the development planning process, including subsurface attribute mapping, oil and gas portfolio high grading, well placement/target zone recommendations, and competitor well performance assessment
Key Skills:
- Advanced mapping skills/interpretation, play assessment, evaluation planning, petrophysics interpretation, exploration, data analytics, project management, operational execution
- Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze complex issues, make data-based decisions, and using analytics where possible, to identify alternatives and select an appropriate course of action
