Description:

The Procurement Coordinator is responsible for supporting the organization’s procurement operations by handling administrative and logistical tasks, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring smooth and efficient purchasing processes. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procurement policies.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders and delivery schedules and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update procurement records, such as purchase orders, vendor information, and pricing agreements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock as needed.
  • Assist in supplier evaluations, maintaining strong relationships, and identifying potential new vendors.
  • Review and reconcile invoices against purchase orders and delivery receipts.
  • Prepare reports on procurement activities, including cost analyses and budget tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, legal standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand procurement needs and provide timely support.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative support.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar systems).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of procurement policies and regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
