With big ambitions, we specialize in the development, construction and operation of RNG, landfill-gas-to-electric and dairy digester facilities. The team operates around 50 sites in 32 states with a robust development pipeline.
About the role
The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Archaea's technical infrastructure, ensuring reliable and secure operations across both corporate and plant locations. This position involves assisting with configuration and management of network and server hardware, providing on-site installation and technical support at energy plant sites, and solving issues to maintain efficient performance. The role emphasizes contributing to the team's efforts to uphold Archaea's infrastructure standards for security and availability.
Key accountabilities
- Infrastructure Deployment and Maintenance : Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network and server hardware at both energy plant locations and corporate offices, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Network and Support : Help configure and run network components, including TCP / IP, VPNs, and firewalls, to maintain stable and secure connectivity across various sites.
- Troubleshooting and Support : Provide on-site and remote support for infrastructure issues, working closely with team members to identify and resolve problems as they arise.
- Documentation : Keep detailed and accurate records of setups, configurations, and maintenance tasks to ensure accurate documentation and support operational visibility.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with colleagues to share knowledge, contribute to projects, and support a positive work environment.
- Industry Learning : Stay informed about new technology and industry trends, bringing fresh ideas and solutions to improve Archaea's infrastructure where possible.
- On-Call and Travel : Participate in on-call rotation and travel as needed to support various Archaea sites.
Essential education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred or applicable work experience.

How much do we pay (Base)? $120,000 - $130,000
This position offers paid vacation depending on your years of relevant industry experience and will range from 120 - 240 hours of vacation per year for full times employees (60 - 240 hours of vacation per year for part time employees). You will also be eligible for 9 paid holidays per year and 2 personal choice holidays.
