2) expertise in depositional systems and interpretation;
3) a consistent record integrating geologic concepts with other subsurface subject areas such as petrophysics, geophysics, and petroleum systems;
4) expertise in mapping, prospect identification, and resource evaluation;
5) moderate to sophisticated expertise in evaluating well performance from a subsurface standpoint;
6) moderate to advanced expertise in 3D geo-cellular modeling of subsurface rock properties;
7) a strong understanding of well planning, geo-steering, drilling, and completions performance from a subsurface standpoint. While a robust knowledge of theoretical concepts is foundational, it is required that the candidate can demonstrate the expertise in the above capacities applied to the
U.S. unconventional oil and gas business. A track record of strong integration across multiple subject areas coupled with excellent communication skills are a must.

Specific accountabilities include:
- Develop and maintain up to date geology products for the three bpx energy assets – Permian, Eagle Ford, and Haynesville – such as stratigraphic depositional interpretations, 3D geo-cellular models, and subsurface property maps. This includes integrating petrophysics- and geophysics-based evaluations.
- Provide geology technical underpinning that enable incremental production and cost savings by addressing the assets’ needs challenges on well performance and, drilling and completions execution. This includes implementing or
Leading technical projects via well-established concepts, innovation, and cross-discipline collaboration.
