We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Home Builder to join our team. The purpose of this position is to manage the estimating, development, and construction of high-end custom home projects with periodically managing large renovations. A candidate must have a strong understanding of the construction process. This individual must meet deadlines, be phase budget-conscious, and be detail-oriented. It's imperative to have excellent communication skills to engage in ongoing communication with customers, office personnel, and trades throughout each step of the project, making sure all details and changes are captured and communicated to all involved parties professionally and timely. And to promote positive working relationships among all persons involved in the project.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in managing custom home projects.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehension of construction documents.
- Proven proficiency with BuilderTrend or similar project manager software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and habits, both verbal and written.
- Minimum rudimentary understanding of building science principles and high-performance home building, and a willingness to learn improved building strategy.
- PMA is non-negotiable.
- Drug screening and background checks will be conducted as part of the application process.
- Tobacco users need not apply.
