Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team in Springfield, MA. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our medical staff. Your primary role will be to assist with patient exams, take vital signs, draw blood, and process specimens. You will also be responsible for sterilizing medical instruments and answering phones. Your work will be critical to ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care possible.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Certificate or diploma in Medical Assisting
• Experience with phlebotomy and specimen processing
• Knowledge of medical instruments and sterilization techniques
• Ability to take accurate vital signs
• Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's or Certification in Medical Assisting or related field
• Experience working in a medical office or clinic
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Experience with nurse practitioner duties

Responsibilities:

• Assist medical staff with patient exams

Skills:

As a Medical Assistant, you will use your skills in medical assisting, phlebotomy, specimen processing, and sterilization on a daily basis. Additionally, knowledge of medical instruments and the ability to take accurate vital signs will be essential to your success in this role. Finally, experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and nurse practitioner duties will be beneficial.
