What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surveying Technician position at BPA?
We provide a variety of site and infrastructure design, permitting, and construction oversight services to municipal and private clients. This position will be responsible for performing assistance to an experienced site surveying crew chief in all types of weather. The applicant may also be responsible for providing other tasks, such as periodic construction inspection and testing or other duties at a variety of project sites throughout Northwest Michigan.
Qualifications for this position include the following:
- Drivers license and reliable personal transportation.
- Ability to work with your hands, standing and walking for extended periods and ability to lift 40 lbs.
- A general aptitude and desire to work in a flexible and dynamic environment where there will be a variety of tasks and duties.
