Job Summary: Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic finance department? BPCE Equipment Solutions is seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. This role is integral to our financial operations and offers the opportunity to contribute to various accounting functions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities: As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in our finance department by executing the following essential duties:

  • Monthly Bank Reconciliations: Complete thorough monthly bank reconciliations and ensure the timely posting of cash entries in the ledger.
  • Journal Entries & Reconciliations: Prepare accurate journal entries, including accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and ASC 842, while performing balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Intercompany Management: Manage intercompany billing and reconciliations efficiently.
  • Accounts Payable: Review and enter invoices in the accounts payable module, collaborating with department managers to confirm the nature of activities and secure necessary approvals.
  • Payroll Reconciliation: Post journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts, coordinating with the HR department for vendor integration reviews and benefits.
  • Tax & Audit Support: Assist tax preparers and both internal and external auditors in their processes.
  • Monthly Closing & Financial Statements: Contribute to the monthly closing process and the preparation of comprehensive financial statements.
  • Sales Reporting: Compile the monthly sales report and process monthly commissions for sales personnel.
  • Policy Maintenance: Update and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.


Qualifications: We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Accounting Expertise: Strong accounting knowledge with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in accounting and accounts payable. Experience in lease accounting (as lessor) is a plus.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferred, and familiarity with Alteryx is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

The salary range for this position will be between $95,000 - $130,000. BPCE Equipment Solutions is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
