Chester Springs, PA

•    Work on engineering projects for custom and stock highway safety products J-Tech manufactures

•    Assist hands-on in the design, engineering, and production of new and existing products

•    Collaborate with production to ensure your design is practical to build

•    Address production engineering change orders

•    Perform engineering analysis on existing products

•    Prepare component drawings

•    Work within our Global Shop ERP system

•    Set up BOMS

•    Investigate, develop, and implement new Standard Operating Procedures

•    Solve/resolve problems and engineering challenges independently

Our Ideal Design Engineer

• Experienced: Bachelor of Science or Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar experience. 2 years of experience in Mechanical Design/Engineering. Knowledge of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
• Skilled: Proficient in 3D Drafting software, SolidWorks experience is preferred. Finite Element Analysis is a plus, experience with the design of trucks and hydraulic equipment.
• Collaborative: You will work closely with other departments to share information, ideas, schedules, challenges, etc.
• Team Player: Humble enough to consider others input. Drive to do excellent work. Strong interpersonal skills.
• Down to Earth: We have a family-friendly work environment. We strive for a clean-cut office atmosphere.
