What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rental Specialist position at BPG LLC dba J-Tech?
Under the direct supervision of the Rental Manager, the Rental Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of incoming and outgoing rentals from J-Tech.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer phone calls and emails.
- Check in and check out rental equipment, inspecting for damage, and following all appropriate processes.
- Utilize technology to gather and share customer information within the company.
- Coordinate with
internal departments on rental equipment service and repairs. - Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding services, products, or personnel.
- Improve customer service experience to create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth.
- Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
- Keep an organized and presentable work area.
- Work in conjunction with the customer service team to fulfill customer needs.
Qualifications and Experience:
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must be able to pass a drug test to acquire DOT physical.
High School Diploma or GED required and 3 years related work experience.
DOT Medical Card is required, must pass physical to obtain card to qualify for position (J-Tech will facilitate). Must pass qualifications under J-Tech’s insurance carrier and be insurable.
Knowledge of inventory software, manufacturing software (ERP), Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
Salary depends on experience and skill set.
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
