Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Inside Sales Manager, the Service Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of new and existing customer repairs and upfits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proactively update and respond to customers in-person, over phone calls and through emails.
- Create bills of materials and routers for quotes and sales orders
- Co-ordinate with
internal departments on customer repairs and upfits. - Support customers and adjusters through insurance claim processes.
- Utilize technology to gather and share customer information within the company.
- Listen to and resolve customer complaints regarding services, products, or personnel.
- Improve customer service experience to create engaged customers and facilitate organic growth.
- Work in conjunction with the Inside Sales team to fulfill customer needs.
- Stage customer owned and/or company owned vehicles as needed.
- Backfill and support Parts Sales as need.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and skills/experience:
High School diploma or GED required.
Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be able to pass a drug test to acquire DOT physical.
Proven experience in a customer service or support role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, which are essential for effectively interacting with clients and team members.
ERP experience is helpful.
Pay is negotiable and depending on experience.
