Position Overview: BPM-PR Firm is seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President of Arts & Culture Division to lead and expand our arts and culture PR initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the arts and culture sector, a proven track record in public relations, and the ability to drive strategic campaigns that elevate our clients' brands. This role requires a dynamic leader who can manage a team, cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, and position BPM-PR Firm as a top PR agency in the arts and culture sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic PR plans aligned with client objectives to elevate brand reputation within the arts and culture sector.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary client liaison for arts and culture clients, offering strategic counsel and fostering robust relationships.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor a diverse team of PR professionals dedicated to arts and culture, driving performance excellence.
  • Overseeing Events: Strategize, execute, and ensure the success of events to maximize PR opportunities and client engagement.
  • Creative Media Campaigns: Approve and contribute to the development of creative PR campaigns that capture client visions and goals.
  • Media and Press Campaigns: Ensure media and press campaigns stay on track and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Management: Oversee PR teams, Directors, and Account Executives, ensuring all team members are aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Media Relations: Spearhead media relations strategies, cultivating key journalist relationships and orchestrating impactful outreach.
  • Content Strategy: Drive the creation of compelling content across diverse platforms to engage audiences effectively.
  • Crisis Management: Lead crisis communication efforts, safeguarding and managing client reputations during challenging times.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the arts and culture sector, contributing to the firm's growth trajectory.
  • Onboarding Clients: Work closely with the sales team to onboard new clients smoothly and integrate them into the BPM-PR Firm family.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs to gauge PR campaign effectiveness, providing actionable insights to clients and senior management.
  • Client Reporting: Prepare and deliver comprehensive client reports, offering insights into campaign performance and media placements.
  • Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, positioning BPM-PR Firm as a leader in the PR landscape.
  • Audience Segmentation and Targeting: Utilize data and insights to define and reach key audiences effectively.
  • Lead Nurturing and Management: Develop strategies for lead nurturing, scoring, and management to optimize client acquisition and retention.
  • Marketing Operations: Utilize and integrate marketing operations systems to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Analytics and Insights: Analyze performance and perceptional data to provide actionable insights and inform campaign strategies.
  • Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to provide enablement and support, translating client objectives into actionable plans.
  • Integrated PR and Marketing Plans: Contribute to the creation of comprehensive PR, marketing, and communications plans that align with B2B client objectives and address market challenges.
  • Demand Generation: Help plan and coordinate programs that drive demand, integrating earned media with paid, social, owned media, and sales efforts.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify challenges within campaign strategies and develop creative solutions.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
  • Paid Media Collaboration: Work closely with the paid media team to develop strategies, analyze performance, and optimize campaigns.
  • Client and Colleague Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • High-Quality Communication: Consistently produce high-quality internal and external communications content.
  • Adaptability: Quickly adapt to evolving client requests and project needs.
  • Autonomous Project Management: Drive and manage projects across different workstreams, accounts, and business units effectively.
  • Team Management: Lead integrated teams, define roles, manage performance, and ensure alignment with client needs and scopes of work.
  • Mentorship: Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing motivation, coaching, and constructive feedback.
  • New Business Development: Support new business initiatives, including idea generation, research, and proposal preparation.
  • Continuous Learning: Commit to continuous personal and professional development, setting and pursuing goals aligned with team and business objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Champion quality in delivering insights, results, and counsel to clients.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of PR experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership capacity within the arts and culture sector.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful PR strategies and campaigns.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in managing dispersed teams.
  • Proficiency in crisis communication and reputation management.
  • Robust network of media contacts and industry influencers in the arts and culture sector.
  • Demonstrated business development acumen and client relationship management skills.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams to drive business growth and onboard new clients.
  • Proficiency in writing press releases, pitch letters, and developing innovative media strategies.
  • Track record of planning, managing, and attending successful events.
  • Ability to motivate teams effectively and foster a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Salary : $95,000 - $150,000
