Job Overview
The International Sales Channel Associate II will support the International Sales team and assist the International Sales Channel team meet their global sales goals. This role must have a desire to work in a fast-growing, innovative work environment with a focus on customer service, cutting edge technologies and new products. This job reports to the International Channel Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Supports the international sales channel network through daily management of global channels team inquiries through email, phone, and video calls.
- Create sales quotes for channel partners, international distributors and international customers.
- Works closely with customer service, shipping, marketing, technical support, quality, and other departments to resolve problems and support international distributors and customers.
- Supply technical documents (COOs, MSDS, COAs), pricing and product literature, customer leads, and other sales support materials to assist our distributors in meeting regional market objectives.
- Responsible for addressing customer inquiries in a manner leading to high customer satisfaction
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a Biology or Chemistry-related field.
- At least two years of International Sales or Distributor sales experience
- At least one year laboratory experience in a relevant life-science field (biochemistry, molecular biology, etc.)
- Previous experience using a CRM or ERP system, preferably Netsuite, Salesforce, and Quickbooks a plus
- Can effectively understand and communicate technical and scientific product-related information.
- Adaptable to changing processes, detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Able to Multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with sensitivity for effectively interacting with a wide variety of audiences from different cultures and educational levels.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a strong customer focus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with international shipping regulations and customs
- Proficient to advanced user in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Ability to communicate in another language a plus.
This position is based in San Diego and will work out of our San Diego office. This position is a full-time position and requires flexibility to occasionally work outside of typical working hours due to International nature of the job.
