Job Title : Junior Software Engineer - .NET / SQL Backend

Location : 5 Days Per Week On-Site (Columbus, OH)

What You'll Do :

  • Backend Development : Assist in the development and maintenance of backend systems using .NET, C#, and SQL.
  • Database Management : Work on developing, optimizing, and maintaining database schemas, queries, and stored procedures in SQL Server.
  • API Integration : Help integrate and develop RESTful APIs to enable data exchange between systems.
  • Bug Fixing & Support : Participate in troubleshooting and resolving software issues, ensuring stability and performance.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Code Reviews & Testing : Write unit tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to the quality assurance process.
  • Documentation : Maintain and update technical documentation to ensure knowledge sharing and support onboarding processes.

What We're Looking For :

  • Experience with .NET & C# : Some experience or coursework with .NET technologies, especially C#.
  • SQL Proficiency : Understanding of SQL queries, database structures, and experience with relational databases like SQL Server.
  • Basic API Knowledge : Familiarity with RESTful API concepts and integration.
  • Version Control : Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Problem-Solving Skills : Analytical thinker with the ability to break down complex problems and provide effective solutions.
  • Team Collaboration : Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to Learn : A passion for continuous learning and development in backend technologies.

    • Nice to Have :

    Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.

    Experience with DevOps practices or tools.

    Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

    Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript, React) is a plus.
