Seeking Service Technicians with hands on mechanical & electrical troubleshooting experience and the ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot band saw machinery .

Details & Qualifications:

• Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot band saw machinery.
• Must be able to read and understand Electrical and Mechanical drawing and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and hydraulic troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of electricity and electrical troubleshooting
• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Excellent communications, interpersonal and diagnostic skills.
• Working knowledge of all precision / measuring tools / basic hand tools.
• PLC knowledge is a plus – will train
• Must be able to perform detailed inspections and/or option modifications on all machinery
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting (max. 50lbs).
• Valid/ clean driver’s license required
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Ability to travel – same day local travel and the occasional out of state overnight for field service with installation and training on customers onsite machinery
• Must speak English – Spanish is a plus

Experience:

• install, repair, test and troubleshoot band saw machinery: 1 year (Required)
• read /understand Electrical Mechanical drawing schematics: 1 year (Preferred)
• read / understand Electrical Mechanical drawing schematics: 1 year (Preferred)
• hands on electrical troubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred)
• hands on mechanical troubleshooting: 1 year (Preferred)
• * PLC knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)
• able to preform inspections / modifications on machinery: 1 year (Preferred)
• comfortable w/ precision-measuring tools-basic hand tools: 1 year (Preferred)
• bandsaw machinery repair: 1 year (Required)
• bandsaw machinery installation: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Clean drivers license (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
