Job Overview:
As a Retail/Operations intern at Bullpen Tournaments, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment focused on athletic apparel. You will work closely with our team to assist in daily operations and learn about merchandising, sales strategies, inventory management, and customer service in the sports retail industry. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career in sports retail while gaining exposure to a variety of functions within the industry. This internship operates out of the largest sports complex in the nation, Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana.
Position Responsibilities
- Inventory management on all onsite apparel
- Merchandise apparel shops
- Stage backstock for individual store inventory needs
- Assist the design team with apparel designs/new items
- Complete store opening and closing procedures
- Managing retail workers in all 5 locations
- Support the production team with making merchandise as needed
- Support Bullpen Operations interns as needed
- Assist Bullpen Operation with preparing for upcoming events
Basic Requirements
- Experience working in retail
- Ability to work long hours as well as have a flexible and adjustable work schedule
- Must have an excellent attitude and work well in a team setting
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
- Experience using Microsoft Excel
- Willing to work 50 hours a week
- Interest in Sports: A passion for sports and sports-related products is a plus.
Housing is available. Pay $250 weekly if in housing, $300 if not.
