Overview
The Food Service Worker is responsible for safely performing contract duties as assigned by management. Quality customer service is expected to be provided at all times. Willingness to learn all aspects of the job is a requirement of the position.
Role Requirements
- Must understand oral and/or written instructions.
- Must interact appropriately with customers, government personnel, and staff members.
- Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contract(s).
- Must be able to pass organization screening requirements, including state or federal background screenings as appropriate.
- Must serve food, interact with customers, and provide routine cleaning services in accordance with quality and safety requirements
Physical Requirements
Most work will take place indoors. Will work with cleaning chemicals. Will be required to follow Emergency Operations Work Assignment per customer requirements. May require working early morning, mid-morning, afternoon, and/or evening hours and weekends and holidays.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to bend, crouch, walk, climb stairs and ladders, reach above head, sit (to drive) and lift up to 40 pounds. Standing and/or walking for long periods (3-4 hours between rest periods) is required. Work may be performed in loud, crowded, hot and/or humid environments.
