This is a great opportunity for a student seeking a For Credit Internship with a well-respected and dynamic national PR agency in Manhattan that has been rated one of New York's top PR firms since 2017 at Expertise.com.
We have two internship positions starting May 27th for students available to work two days a week (not Fridays) until August 28. The working hours are from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
If you are looking for a summer internship with hands-on experience in all facets of entertainment and business PR and the opportunity to work directly with the president of the agency, this is the place for you! Our interns learn a ton of marketable skills and have gone on to great careers.
One of the clients we will be working on over the summer is the popular, global pop-up event Diner en Blanc, which has a wait list in NY of over 70,000 people. We are looking for a bright individual who is comfortable multi-tasking, is a team player and also enjoys being given his/her own projects. Previous internship experience and some knowledge of the public relations/communications industry preferred.
Responsibilities include:
· Work on live events. Duties include checking in and interacting with media.
· Create social media posts, stay on top of trending subjects and help build followers.
· Research and create influencer lists, help pitch them.
· Participate in client meetings.
· Do online research for clients.
· Research and maintain media lists on Cision, the key database every PR agency and PR department uses.
· Stay on top of trending topics and breaking news for opportunities to insert our clients in stories.
