Job Description - Minimum of 5 years of Experience
POSITION OVERVIEW Brace Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Press Brake Operator. The operator supports daily manufacturing work schedules, meeting all goals of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Day to day functions):
- Set-up machines to produce in conformance parts to existing programs. Including gathering/loading of machine tools and inspection tools. Touch off tooling.
- Ability to understand drawings ie: Radius call outs, flange call outs
- Ability to properly measure and calculate part dimensions
- Ability to make adjustments in the CNC program to meet product specifications
- Clearly communicate and document non-conformance
- Maintains a clean work environment including daily cleaning of floors and machinery within the assigned work area.
- Self-sufficient on start-up and shutdown equipment procedures including re-starts after minor stoppages.
- Demonstrates ability to perform setup and operate machine in safe & efficient manner.
- Changes press brake tooling & performs minor tooling adjustments and program offsets.
- Performs necessary quality checks of parts including the effective use of calipers and protractor.
- Works closely with team leader and team members to achieve necessary work requirements
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
