What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Payroll Clerk position at BRACKEN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY INC?
The Site Payroll Clerk must be bilingual and will be responsible for assisting with payroll timesheets, data entry, new hire orientations and collection of benefits.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist with collecting and entering timesheets into payroll system and excel reconciliation spreadsheet
Assist with new hire orientation paperwork and running I-9 Verifications, as needed
Provide Corporate Office payroll changes for site employees such as taxes, direct deposits, employee transfers, pay changes, etc.
Assist with monthly benefit enrollments
Communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns
Scan and copy various paperwork
Work closely with site Payroll Clerks, Superintendents, Foremen and Corporate Office on day-to-day payroll and benefit duties and other miscellaneous administrative tasks, as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must be Bilingual
Willing to work 50 hours including weekends
Exceptional problem solving, time management and communication skills
Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with a keen attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
Basic Excel skills
Discretion in handling confidential matters for the privacy of employee records
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
