Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, facilities maintenance, and the ability to read schematics. The Maintenance Technician will also demonstrate leadership skills while supervising maintenance projects and collaborating with other team members.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on various building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems using logic controllers and Ohmmeters.
• Oversee residential painting projects as needed, ensuring high-quality finishes.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and materials used.
• Supervise junior technicians or maintenance staff during larger projects to ensure efficiency and adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with management to develop maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including the ability to read schematics.
• Familiarity with using tools such as Ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Previous experience in supervising or leading a team is a plus.
• Proficiency in English is required for effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
• A background in residential painting is advantageous but not mandatory.
