Job Summary
Responsible for coordinating bids, sourcing, negotiating, and securing agreements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential
- Leads bidding activities for major projects, high value RFPs, and other scenarios, as required, including providing advisory activities/recommendations on scopes of work, required exhibits, and other bid documents.
- Responsible for strategically working with operations/sales leaders; evaluating potential customers for proposal considerations
- Monitors contracts and ensures that renewal or replacement contracts are in place such that there are not lapses in service availability.
- Analyze and document contract deliverables and requirements (KPIs) and monitors for efficiency
- Investigates questionable data and recommends actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Uses defined business software to produce delivery and invoicing documents for commercial, government, and domestic and product deliveries.
- Responsible for updating process guidelines and procedures related to job role
- Excellent customer service while interfacing with customers and other functions
- Performs a variety of activities in support of the functional areas of the Sales department in successfully reaching goals and initiatives.
- Provides pricing, product, and delivery information upon request
- Direct requests and unresolved issues to the appropriate resource
- Formulates resolution and responses to customer issues

- Able to obtain Company forklift certification.
- Strong customer service skills.
Preferred
- One (1) year inside sales experience desired
- Minimum one (1) year of B2B experience
- 4 year degree
- Experience in transportation, lubricants, fuel, or a related industry
