JOB SUMMARY

Hall Farms, LLC is seeking a full-time Farm Mechanic in Pingree, Idaho. The ideal candidate will maintain, diagnose, and repair agricultural equipment and machinery. They will ensure the smooth operation of farm vehicles, irrigation systems, and other essential equipment to support daily farming operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, and other farm equipment.

• Perform regular maintenance, including oil changes, lubrication, and part replacements.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues in farm machinery.

• Weld and fabricate parts as needed for repairs and modifications.

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, servicing, and equipment performance.

• Order and manage parts inventory for necessary repairs and replacements.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

• Provide emergency repair services as required.

• Train farm personnel on basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanics preferred.

• Proven experience as a farm mechanic or in a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.

• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

• Skilled in welding, fabrication, and basic machining.

• Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and work in outdoor conditions.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
