Who You Are:
We are seeking an experienced client support specialist that prides themselves on the ability to solve problems and find solutions in a timely manner. This role is ideal for somebody that has an insurance background (or similar field) and enjoys providing a successful customer experience. Reviewing account information, and communicating information to clients clearly is a key skill we are looking for. Our Leland office is in a growing market and this person should expect this role to evolve overtime. This is a great opportunity to work for a trusted local company that is driven towards growth.
What You'll Do:
- You'll work directly w/ the Leland Office Manager and the sales staff.
- Communicate with clients via phone, email & online chat.
- Learn our agency management system (Hawksoft) and utilize it on a daily basis.
- Answer insurance related questions and facilitate the quoting process.
- Help manage & service existing books of business and new business.
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
- Provide client's with correct solutions while showing empathy.
- Develop a strong knowledge base of the insurance industry and trends.
- Show strong signs of adaptability to new platforms and technology. Eventually assisting with onboarding of future team members and being a resource.
- Utilize Microsoft suites, Google suites, Slack, Zoom & other platforms on a consistent basis.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to pass the state exam to become a NC licensed property and casualty insurance agent.
- 3 years of proven experience in customer success, account management, or client services.
- 1 years of experience in insurance or a related industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. You are very aware of your responsibilities and take action to providing excellent client support.
