The Job : Accounts Payable Specialist
Reports to : Accounting Department
Under the supervision of the Accounting Department, the Accounts Payable Specialist’s primary role will be managing accounts payable for our property utilities. This includes recording and paying utility bills, as well as charging tenants for utilities used. Additionally, the Accounts Payable Specialist will assist the Accounting Department with other tasks as needed.

Specific Job Responsibilities :
- As an AP Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors
- Process and review invoices from properties and corporate offices, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Post invoices to the correct accounting months and maintain a working knowledge of accounting cut-offs and close due dates
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, communicating effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders
