General Function: This position is responsible for providing support in the business development efforts of the Bradesco Bank C&I Brazil team, to reach the Division’s annual Business Plan and budget. The role has operational responsibilities and duties related to client onboarding, customer support, credit approval, transaction booking, and driving these processes internally. All job responsibilities must be carried out according to Federal/State regulations, in adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act and in Compliance with the BSA/AML program.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities
The C&I Brazil Associate is responsible for all operational aspects of the Brazilian client portfolio, driving the necessary processes, follow-ups, maintenance, and reporting.
- Driving and delivering the operational activities of the Brazilian client portfolio, i.e., KYC and Onboarding process, Credit process, Loan process and Customer Service needs. Must lead processes internally as well as interact with customers to obtain documents, information or solve inquiries. Following-up in a timely manner.
- Coordinate the client onboarding process, requesting the required documentation, and driving the process within the organization while ensuring compliance with BSA guidelines. Responsible for the maintenance of client accounts, requesting expired or stale information as required by Bank policy and Bank regulations.
- Support Manager in prioritizing credit requests and ensuring necessary financial information is provided for the credit analysis process. Keep track of maturities and deadlines for renewals.
- Coordinate beginning to end of the Loan disbursement process. Prepare and review loan agreement and documentation for new loans and renewals ensuring compliance with credit and BSA guidelines. Check availability of customer credit limits and country limits. Lead the disbursement process along with the Bank’s support units to arrange funding and resolve outstanding issues.
- Provide Business Intelligence by leveraging the use of information available within bank and internal reports to assist Manager in achieving business growth. Recommending improvements/adjustments in processes if applicable. Preparing spreadsheets, briefings, reports, and other pertinent documents for Business Development. Maintain client documents and files organized, complete and up to date.
Risk Management
- Comply with BFB Credit and Compliance/BSA policies.
- Responsible for following a risk-based approach to BSA Compliance within the Division, including KYC and account/client monitoring.
Competencies, Skills, and Qualifications
- Computer literate with knowledge of standard word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
- Proficiency in KYC onboarding documents and Loan Documentation
- Ability to understand and comply with instructions, procedures and policies ensuring Bank’s Compliance requirements are met. Ability to read and interpret documents such as regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Excellent written and oral communication in English and Portuguese.
- Must be organized, detail-oriented and results driven. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills both within the organization as well as with clients. Must communicate well with all stakeholders, internal and external.
- Ability to effectively complete multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes.
- Self-starter with ability to plan, manage and follow through on initiatives and objectives independently.
- Experience in commercial banking, payments, treasury, deposits, cash management or institutional finance products.
Required Registrations or Certifications
- BA Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, related field or any combination of education, training, and a minimum of 5-year Banking experience or related field that that will provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Required Languages
- Must communicate fluently in English and Portuguese in written and oral forms.
