Job Summary
The International Trade Specialist role at Bradesco Bank requires an individual with strong technical expertise and knowledge of functions, policies, and procedures related to Letter of Credit transactions.
Main Responsibilities
- Reviews and interprets instructions and/or documents to determine disposition of items, accurately inputs information in the Letters of Credit/Documentary Collections system, and verifies compliance with relevant regulations.
- Collaborates with Account managers to ensure proper processing of instructions, maintains accurate records, and performs necessary research and investigations.
- Follows up on instructions and documents provided by the Account Manager, keeps files organized, and provides exceptional customer service.
- Ensures that all names scanned against OFAC lists and other lists adhere to Bank Secrecy Act policies and procedures.
- Validates and processes payments, prepares and sends correspondence via regular mail or courier, and utilizes SWIFT and/or email to obtain and transmit information.
- Maintains control of new instructions or amendments received, reports discrepancies to interested parties, and takes corrective action as per policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum two years of experience in international trade or a related field.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports and correspondence, and present information effectively.
