Job Summary: Bradford is seeking a Project Manager to manage multiple residential new construction projects and remodeling projects as part of our overall build portfolio.. This team member must be resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Position requires the ability to communicate well and effectively, verbally and in writing, with other members of the company.

This role will sit primarily in the field, but will attend production meetings and meet with vendors in the office as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience in effectively communicating with and interacting with customers and teammates
• Ability to explain complex issues to others in a manner easily understood by both, associates in the industry and customers with limited knowledge of construction processes and terminology.
• Excellent problem/conflict resolution skills, ability to handle and diffuse difficult situations and customer concerns in a positive manner.
• Superior organizational skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner without sacrificing quality
• Ability to supervise, as well as inspect the quality of the jobs performed by subcontractors and hold them accountable to our quality standards
• College degree in Construction Mgmt or similar preferred
• 5 years of construction management experience, preferably in custom homes
• Construction Accounting experience required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Proficiency in MS Office and Pm software like Buildertrend, Procore, etc
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
• Valid auto insurance coverage.
• Advanced knowledge of practices and procedures of construction and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong aptitude for quality and efficiency

Responsibilities:

Provide excellent client experience throughout the project to ensure a memorable building experience

Be extremely detail-oriented

Possess an understanding of the entire coastal home building process from initial sales meeting through final warranty administration

Maintain an impeccably clean job site to the highest possible standard

Possess a problem-solving outlook and the drive to bring the project in on time and within budget

Utilize our construction scheduling software and technology to manage multiple projects from start to finish, to include: including timekeeping, change orders, materials ordered, safety records, changes of scope, inspections, etc.

Act as the principal financial executive of the project and manage costa accordingly

Ability to supervise the work of others and verify quality on the job site

Understanding permitting process and working with building officials

Ensure company policies, procedures, OSHA, and safety guidelines are met

Ability to read and understand construction drawings & specifications

Work closely with in-house designers to ensure detailed specifications are completed in the field

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.03 - $35.75 per hour

Compensation Package:

• Bonus opportunities

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

• Building and Remodeling: 4 years (Preferred)
