As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in this well-established and respected Community Health Center, providing comprehensive primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan. Your responsibilities will include conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating common acute and chronic illnesses, prescribing medications, and providing health education and counseling to patients. 4 day work week with one administration day.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical assessments Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory tests and imaging studies

- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Prescribe medications and other necessary treatments, ensuring adherence to evidence-based guidelines and safety protocols.
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- New Graduates will not be considered for this position
- Current certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems EPIC
