What are the responsibilities and job description for the Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner position at Bradford Healthcare?
This position is to join that team of an established Community Health Center located in Bristol County. They provides a wide range of services to their diverse and underserved patient population; their philosophy is to deliver integrated outpatient primary care. They are recruiting for a Nurse Practitioner with an interest in women’s health services and gynecological support.
Responsibilities include:
- Preform annual physicals; routine check-ups; preventive care; manage acute and chronic health issues.
- Order and interpret all needed tests, provide birth control services that includes placement and removal Nexplanon.
- Offer patient education on preventive care, healthy lifestyles, birth control counseling and management of varied health conditions
Qualifications:
- Have or able to obtain a MA NP License
- Active DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
- Board Certification: Adult/Family Medicine or Women’s Health (AANP/ANCC or NCC)
- Strong clinical skills in primary care and women’s health
- Dedication to serving a diverse and underserved patient population
- Independent Practice experience of two (2) or more years
- Comfortable with supporting LGBTQ population as well as individuals with mental health and substance use disorders
- Primary or Secondary language skills in: Portuguese or Spanish (not required)
- Strong eMR systems experience
