What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dockmaster position at Bradford Marine?
A dockmaster oversees the management of storage and servicing of boats within the marina. The dockmaster is the first line of customer service for incoming boats. The person holding this position must have exceptional customer-service skills.
Administers the daily operations of the marina, ensuring customers arriving and departing the marina are provided the highest level of customer service
Ensures all movement of vessels throughout the marina is done in a safe and organized manner based on proper training and communication
Coordinates all vessel movement with sales and operations teams to ensure all vessels are placed in the correct slip based on slip utilization and scope of work requirements
Coordinates with appropriate vendors for repairs and maintenance
Arranges towing of vessels and barges, internally and on the New River
Coordinates scheduling and billing for outside towing resources
Oversees preventative maintenance and prepares and keeps required logs and reports for Company owned vessels
Oversees the safety and compliance of Company owned vessels including all installed equipment, documentation and inspections thereof
Comply with all applicable local, state and federal laws/regulations for navigation, boat handling and environmental standards
Partners with EHS and project management to ensure environmental, health and safety standards are obeyed
Enforces standard operating procedures for the marina, including rules and regulations for the safety of everyone.

Pay: $48,800.00 - $78,000.00 per year
