Primary Function:
Our Ambler, PA location is currently seeking a Claims Administrator. This role is a multi-faceted role responsible for handling and processing product insurance subrogation claims and related complaints, incidents, and issues.
Responsibilities:
- Investigating, evaluating and resolving insurance claims
- Liaison and communicate with insurance adjusters/companies and customers
- Negotiating settlements and authorizing payments
- Maintain and manage the claims database including claim status updates
- Review and process invoices
- Conferring with legal counsel and experts when necessary
- Responsible for internal and external claims reporting
- Support Claims department with additional tasks as needed
Job Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Law/Administration, or Actuarial Science or related experience
- 3 years of insurance subrogation claims experience is preferred, as is experience in consumer products
- Experience with product forensics and/or product liability law is preferred
- Extremely detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal skills are required
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Programs including Excel and PowerPoint
