Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations, and reporting any issues or concerns to your supervisor.
- Performing tasks such as installing components, testing water tanks, securing product, welding tanks, loading overhead conveyors, hydraulic press operation, and adhering to safety regulations and PPE guidelines.
- Lifting and moving heavy objects, which requires the candidate to have prior experience in an industrial setting.
Requirements:
- Ability to regularly understand/adhere to safety regulations and PPE guidelines.
- Ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced/high volume environment that features multiple stimuli.
- Ability to understand work instructions and required training.
- Prior experience in an industrial or similar environment that involves lifting 50lbs via the upper body (shoulders, arms abdomen).
- Ability to be cross trained in multiple jobs within the given training period.
- Ability to retain information with the expectation to be able to train after adequate time on the job.
- Ability to understand detail-oriented awareness of product specifications, quality, potential defects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an industrial or similar environment that involves heavy lifting.
- Proficient understanding of basic math to keep track of product changeovers.
- Proficient ability to recall mechanical processes and understanding machine functionality.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that assembles large steel products.
- Prior experience in a metal works, steel, aluminum shop or similar work environments.
- Prior experience in roles that required frequent troubleshooting and or repair of machines, auto mobiles, home appliances, HVAC components and other adjacent fields.
Physical Requirements:
- Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) based on specific job tasks, including but not limited to steel toe/composite boots, gloves, aprons, protective sleeves, safety eyewear, and hearing protection, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Rotation of product 180 degrees (right side up) when operating some blasts.
- Frequent, repetitive use of upper body muscle groups (arms, back, shoulders, abdomen) to lift and extend product portions, often weighing up to 50lbs or more, overhead and securely place them on water tanks or designated areas.
- Prolonged standing for 8 to 12-hour shifts, involving consistent use of upper body muscles to assemble, align, and cojoin components on the final assembly lines.
- Regular, repetitive movements such as bending, reaching, tilting, and rotating materials for 8 to 12 hours per shift, utilizing primary muscle groups (chest, back, shoulders, arms, legs, hip flexors, abdomen) to perform tasks such as conjoining, welding, spray painting, loading/unloading, and rotating products as part of the production process.
