Electronic Technician (Maintenance)

Position Overview :   The  Electronic Technician  is to support plant production within the Maintenance department . The Electronic Technician will perform repairs, constructs, installs, maintains, designs, troubleshoots, and tests electronic equipment, VFDs, PLCs, machinery, and components. Conducts preventative maintenance and identifies parts for replacement.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Inspect electrical and electronic systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards
• Test electrical and electronic systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, circuit boards, and equipment, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes
• Design, assemble, install, test and maintain electrical and electronic equipment
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
• Carry out preventive maintenance per the schedule and work instructions provided
• Specify electronics, sensors, VFDs, PLCs, instruments and associated equipment
• Work with DC to 480V 3 phase electrical systems
• Understand and follow Lock-out Tag-out, Confined space and Fall protection policies
• Keep areas clean and practice good housekeeping in work areas

Shift : Monday - Friday, 7 : 00AM - 3 : 30PM Pay Range :   $22.63 - $40.41 / hour
