Position Overview: The MPE LPE Inspector Level II role is to inspect castings in compliance with plant policy and procedures, and to achieve the business unit’s mission and business plan. To provide finished products to customers in line with company goals and objectives. This will be achieved with safety as a priority, and to achieve standard cost while upholding our quality and delivery requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Pay Range: $34.20 - $38.82/hour (depending on experience)

Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with organizational Health, Safety, and Environmental rules and regulations
- Wear proper protective equipment (PPE) and personnel monitoring equipment
- Review customers specification requirements under B&L system
- Perform production inspections on castings to customer and Code requirements using magnetic particle equipment and liquid penetrant materials
- Evaluate indications to applicable acceptance criteria
- Provide guidance and training to inspection trainees
- Complete required paperwork to support inspection records including manufacturing weld records
- Maintain daily housekeeping in the work area
- Other tasks and duties as assigned
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self- Motivated and able to work independently
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
- Previous level II certification in MPE and LPE preferred.
- Basic computer skills
- Math skills (addition, subtraction fractions) and drawing interpretation skills
- Passing required Level II exams
