Title: IT Technician

Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Manager of Technology Services, the IT Technician will provide technical support to a wide variety of ‘end user’ technologies such as computers, printers, scanners, and phones. Bradley is primarily a Microsoft Windows-based user environment with Intel hardware.
Position Responsibilities:
- Respond to, research, and resolve user inquiries for Level I support requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Update help desk tickets including logging, follow-up, and closure
- Escalate problems to appropriate IT teams based on established guidelines and procedures
- Take ownership and follow up on tickets escalated to other groups to ensure resolution and user satisfaction
- Hardware and peripheral support, repair/replacement, and break/fix
- Configure and support Apple and Android devices
- Maintain knowledge of current product offerings and support policies to provide technically accurate solutions to users
- Attend team and department meetings to stay current on projects and updates
- Participate in software and hardware rollouts/upgrades including planning, testing, scheduling, pilot testing, solicitation of user feedback
- Application support, installation, and upgrades
- After-hours emergency support on call (24x7) on a rotational basis
- Demonstrate a willingness to cover extended hours and overtime on holidays, weekends, or after regular business hours when coverage is needed
- Asset inventory, reporting, tracking, and updates
- Work with relevant vendors and service providers
- Contribution to technology guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements and Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience preferred
- A minimum of four years in a computer end-user support role preferably in a professional services office environment such as a legal, accounting, or medical services
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Expert knowledge of PC hardware and peripherals
- Intermediate knowledge of networks and client/server technology
- Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new technologies and skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and good organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong client service focus and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Various physical activities may be required
