As a Support Service Professional, you’ll partner 1:1 with a college student with autism, helping him improve executive functioning and study skills. This includes managing assignments, understanding the syllabus, how to tackle projects, studying for tests, focusing, prioritizing, and developing personal independence and functional life skills.
He seeks someone who has experience supporting neurodivergent individuals or is neurodivergent themselves. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, creative, socially compatible, open-minded, and has a sense of humor, plus an interest in psychology or sociology. He aspires to a lab science/research career, and likes to talk about music, current events, comedy, reading and computers.

This position offers approximately 10 hrs of support per week initially. The primary needs are Wednesday mornings and Fridays (at home), Thursday mornings or afternoons (at DCCC in Media), and potentially some Saturdays (at home and/or in the community.)

- Own car, with valid Drivers License, insurance and registration is preferred, but not a dealbreaker.
